Streets Of Us

by VoiceOfTheSoul   Jan 9, 2007

I wander these lonely streets,
Sighing in disbelief,
Of where did our love rush past us?
The wonder of earths underneath.

I'll have you back I won't be dumb,
And wait for us to part,
You are always a shine in my eye,
The sparkle of my love's art

The grief I fear will overcome me,
I'll kiss our first kiss goodbye,
For the night I finally saw you,
I swear I nearly cried.

It doesn't have to end this way,
I can feel it in the air,
Of the time I finally ignite my love,
Our time will be ours to share.

If hope appears to be lost,
Crying will have no reason to,
For you are happy on your street,
I'm just on the street right next to you.
