Sacrafice Street

by VoiceOfTheSoul   Feb 19, 2007

Departure of our love I sit here alone,
For I was maybe, not the one for you,
A dream you we're till reality's rose sprout,
I swear I should of picked it for you,
For years I've wept for the mistakes I made,
The chances I've missed,
I live in doubt I'll ever see you again,
For now you decay in my chalice of memories,
Living in harmony in your world,
Not realizing the passion one still has for you,
Now you live to far away to reveal one's secret,
I remember the street I once walked on,
The street I knew would destroy my rightful position,
My one and only love,
My angel like a dove,
Now me flee from the field of happiness,
Climbing different roads,
Trying different paths,
Reaching farther in life,
Like the free spirited one you are,
I can not thank you enough the memories,
Honestly I never would of guessed I'd take you,
You are the one that I'd pick over any angel,
Although it was a Sacrifice you had to make,
I just hope it was the same road I'm traveling.
