Memory lane

Do you ever walk down memory lane
and watch your dreams circle the drain
trying to see your future in a dimming light
what would be different if you went left and not right
do you doubt the choices you made
can u see where your hope began to fade
can you tell where pain became a part of your life
after every problem you turned to the knife
do you walk down memory lane
and wish it could all change
so maybe the present wouldn't be the same
