My Dear Friend

by Elizabeth   Jan 10, 2007

A sad feeling in my heart,
A tear on my cheek,
I am immersed in sadness,
As the news leaks.

I will always have the image,
Of your radiant smile,
But now there is only your car,
Laying in an enormous scrap pile.

Why act so negligent to things,
Why my dearest friend,
It is beyond my jurisdiction to,
Talk to you ever again.

Some day forthcoming,
Again we will meet,
I hope you are one and the same,
Right down to your feet.

Nevertheless, until that day,
I will unquestionably stay strong,
And futhermore hope and pray,
That I will attempt to move on.
