In his sight

A twilight sky awakes
the sun will soon arise
another night alone
waking up, with tired eyes

just a sleepless night
many thoughts consumed
terrorizing dreams
of everything but you

it wont be long now
putting on my face
I simply look within the mirror
into the eyes that fall away

all that I love is lost
but the song I sing lingers
waiting for something
fate to pull the trigger?

I want this all to end
break loose wild and free
and one day ill look back
living through my dreams

I'll do something
what God has planned who knows
but until then im here
my life stoic left in stone

my heart however
its beating in your hand
do what you want
it has nothing planned

clinging to that one
the flicker of light
for maybe 5 minutes
i'll be within his sight
