Walk With Me

Walk With Me

Walk with me through the night
Our souls lit up by the graceful moonlight
And hearts beating steadily to the pace we walk
The reflection of this night rests in your eyes
Guiding me on and easily you steal my heart
The dimly lit darkness shines on your face
And I sligthly see a tear slip from your eye
Sliding slowly down your cheek and crashing to the pavement
With ever splash it echoes in my ears
I close my eyes and you lead me on in my path
Then I stop and turn toward you
Open my eyes and tears pour out
I take you into my arms and hold you there
Whispering the gracious words that come from my heart
In my life, the loss of you is all I fear
This night will forever stay inside my mind
Like a made up movie that never seaces to amaze
And then 3 words slip from your lips
Piercing me deep within my chest
I brush your cheek and kiss your lips
And allowed myself to whisper them back
Holding you in my arms I layed us down
And we slept peacfully in our thoughts
