Guardians of Our Souls

Guardians of Our Souls

A million sacred crows flying all around us
Quickly sweeping past my eyes in a flash of twilight
A darkened blur that rests forever in my mind
Soaring through the sky in a flock of pure nothingness
They guide the crippled souls to were they belong
Guiding us to their darkness for a glimpse
A beautiful glimpse of their darkened light
A haven for all of those that scower through the night
Searching for a beauty that they can truly keep
And hold it deep within their once lonely heart
These crows, theyr'e our guardians
The guardians of our forever darkened souls
Keeping these lost souls safe from any harm
Always safe within these wings of dark
Where they may watch down on us from the nights sky
A flock of crows that never leave us alone
Always watched by their mysterious eyes of black
That when looked upon for just a second
Our lives quickly flash across our eyes
And our once unknown future is revealed to us
The true resting place of our soul now known
And atlast we know we are never alone
With their wings always soaring above us
Silently looking deep within our lives
Determining where we truly belong
