It broke long ago

She walks within the opaque room
her gaze falls upon the ground
the brightness that once was
never again shall it be found

eyes dimmed down to black
they tell a story
of brokeness beyond repair
and a pain that runs so deep

As she walks through the halls
she passes him by
he glances up slowly
then looks away and sighs

this is how it is
everyday his memory haunts her
the life she once knew,
lost in a glimps forever

she'll keep going
as if hell itself has froze
her stoic heart beats black
