With sad eyes

by silhouette fairy   Jan 12, 2007

He tells her three simple words
she smiles with sad eyes
"I'm sorry, but i don't,
no, can't hear those words.
I'm too young and confused"
slowly he drops his head
she looks into his eyes
"I'm sorry, we must be just friends"
and again the three simple words come
"please don't it just makes this harder
I'm sorry to leave you so disappointed."
"no you're not, I'm not."
she now looks at him inquisitively
"i still have you as a friend
that's all i need
so don't say I'm disappointed."
days go by and he doesn't call
she misses him so much
she calls him and gets a girl
she now knows she's lost him
and slowly she hangs up
so disappointed
