Death of A Heart

by XxsilencedxX   Jan 12, 2007

Of all the love in the world
it's been drained out of me
hate filled my heart
it happened so slow and painfully

To my true love
who stabbed my heart
left the knife in for me to suffer
my true love, you killed my heart

Slow, painful death
I felt every wince
tears still fill my eyes
and hate covers every inch

Hate is such a strong word
but nothing else fits
not hate for you, but hate for life
still remember, you broke my heart

I stitched it up with a sewing needle
so it still leaks pain
the blood runs through me
and the death of my heart, kills the blood in my veins

This poem is depressing but good... 5/5...if you get the chance you should read and rate one of my poems....i think you would like "The Lies" or "Who To Love" the best

Not bad. But, it was a little choppy if you know what I mean. I may go as far as saying it was a little forced... But still good, Here's a 4. You painted quite an image.
