I didn't want to admit it,
It was easier to lie,
And hide the hurt and emptiness,
To smile instead of cry.

It was easier to laugh,
Than to scream,
It was easier to fail,
Than it was to dream.

It was easier to hide
Rather than to share
Easier to hold it all in
Till it was to much to bear

It was easier to blame
Than it was to speak out
It was easier to leave
Than me make a shout

It was easier to die
And leave the other to it
Seeing they are so perfect
It is just so easy for me to quit
