Only in my Dreams

by Tian Tian   Jan 13, 2007

I had a dream, a dream that made
my heart melt,
A dream where you hold my hand
and I felt.
A dream where I can hold you
close,
A dream where I can see whom I
loved most.

A dream where I can feel your
arms around me tight,
A dream where we can no longer
fight.
A dream where I can feel the
warmth of your embrace,
A dream where I could be with you
during the cold winter days.

A dream where I can hear your
sweet and gentle voice,
A dream where I listen to you and
have no choice.
A dream where I can see your face,
A dream where you can shatter all
of my dismays.

A dream where I can see your
smile,
A dream where I can feel your
presence even when I'm out
by a mile.
A dream where I can hear your
laugh,
A dream where I can be strong
even when the times gets
rough.

A dream where I can see your eyes
glowing form the sky,
A dream where we can stare in
each other's eye.
A dream where we can be together,
A dream where our love stays
forever.

A dream where there are no people
that could judge our love,
A dream where the stars would fall
from up above.

But that dream broke my fragile
heart,
Cos I woke up knowing we were
once again part.

I woke up with my thoughts of you
running in my mind,
I woke up searching for the soul I
can't seem to find.
I wished that in my dreams, with
you we will never part,
I wished that in my dreams, with
you forever we would stay in
love.From the bottom of
our hearts...Forever...

But a dream is just a dream,
And a thought is just a thought.
Only in my dreams I can hold you
tight,
Only in my dreams I can kiss you
goodnight.

Cos never in my own world I can
see your face,
Never in this world I can feel your
warm embrace.
If I would stay asleep, forever we
can be together,
But I know that it would never
happen, every moment that
would pass by, I cried
sweet goodbye...
