Yeah, I wrote this poem after having an argument with my mom. I know it doesn't rhyme or anything. I was going to go back and edit it but never got around to it... hope you like.
If I could be granted one wish
It would be to leave this place
To go a place where you can't follow
My wish would be to go away
To leave these chains and my fears behind
Just one night away from your vicious threats
All along I've been trapped in lonelyness
Nothing but fear and pain at my side
If I could show you the pain I feel
Would you understand my ways?
Or criticize me like you always do?
Threats and lies are all I know from you
Poisin words that throw me into emotional spirals
Well now it's my turn to spit the poison
To send you on the roller coaster that I've always known
For one night sleep in my bed
And for one mile take a walk in my shoes
Now it is my turn, my chance to give back to you
What you have always given to me
My turn to show you my nightmare
