They Don't Fade***

by sarah   Jan 16, 2007

She seals her lips,
To protect you from the pain,
Once or twice she told you,
But you said just to
"Put a smile back on your face"
So she did - she smiles...
Now you can believe its gone away;
Everythings back to normal.

After yelling at her to hold her head high,
She sure does,
- Just so you don't leave again,
Scared that if you knew the truth,
You'd look at her in more shame.

Forgetting what she told you,
You cannot see her hate,
Those little scares on her arm,
You wont listen.
They don't fade.
