No Normal Without You

It happened so fast,
Just another regular day,
But I'll never forget it,
Because my world was forever changed,
As this was when you left me,
The day that you slipped away.

The moment I found out,
I went completely numb.
How do you react to something like that?
I couldn't do anything at all,
Simply fell apart,
And nothing could put me together again.

That seems like so long ago now,
Sitting here by your grave,
Chatting away as if you were here with me.
Knew you so well that I can talk to you,
And know everything that you would say,
Still I long to hear your voice one last time.

Left my flowers on the ground,
And walked away.
Be seeing you again soon though,
Cus I can't stop coming back to you.
People tell me not too,
But they don't understand my pain.

I always thought it would get easier,
With time slowly passing by,
Because that's what everyone says.
Looks like their all wrong,
The pain aint no better,
I still feel it deep down every day.

Where do things go from here,
Everyone seems to know but me,
How can I move on,
When I think of you everyday.
My life will never be normal again,
There just isn't a normal without you.
