My Fury

by Laura Sauer   Jan 16, 2007

The corruption of a mind puts an entire lifetime to waste,
To run away and leave behind all that knew hate with all haste.
Forgetting existence of all pain and sorrow,
And begin again with a brand new tomorrow.
But there are no new days, they are all the same.
Days lost in love and lust and remembering never to forget
That a new day will never come and you will wallow in your shame.
Nothing but memory of pain and believing there are no regrets.

Missing that love day after day, that left all too soon
And killing yourself for letting it go!
It left you hoping for death in your hollow tomb.
Happily crying but dieing and praying it doesn't show.

The corruption of a beautiful mind is all too easy to do.
Living life the way that's rightly wrong,
And no one knows that being typical is only suicide!
But it's only seen when the followers die.
Realize it can't just die! It must be murdered.
Strangled by the love of life found only in a free mind!
But you choke down the blood, until you've lost all your luster.
Because you wouldn't see your niche,
Only your ditch when that was made easy to find.

You don't corrupt a mind to life, only death.
Fearing the pain and torment of God when there is none in bliss.
Bliss that leaves you nothing to live for,
But the succession of love, peace, and eternal happiness.
