Something I Could Never Have

I stand here asking you to love me with one single tear in my eye
Wishing I had not cried in front of you again
You are standing there watching me beg for your love
And wishing I would go away forever

I didnt ask to fall in love with you
It just happened like that
And even though I cant explain it
Its as if you have this hold over me

It is a dream, not a reality
That I have held on so tight
To something I could never have
And for that I die inside
