Slowly Dying

by Savanha   Jan 17, 2007

Slowly Dying is who I am,
but its not what I want to be.
Slowly Dying is what I am,
So all I am is me.

Don't give up,
Some people say,
Don't give in,
Try to live another day.

Everyday I go on,
Hiding behind only lies.
Counting down the day,
Until my body dies.

Everytime I hear his voice,
I know I have to hold strong.
Listening to him on the phone,
Singing me my favorite song.

Going to the hospital,
Scared beyond belief.
Waiting for the results,
Waiting for relief.

Maybe in the future,
But hopefully not today.
My body will lie still,
And all will be okay.
