In a Heart Beat

by Anula   Jan 19, 2007

I lay in your arms
And stared at the sky
I saw day turn to night
And the birds fly
My head on your chest
You hands around my hips
Your kiss it till lingers
Hot on my lips
Moonlight is falling
The stars line the black
Your breath warms me
Softly on the back of my neck
Stand up you earged
I do as you say
You pull me close
And hold me a special way
Lets dance you whisper
Softly to my ear
Out at midnight
Lets dance right here
There isnt any music
I say with a giggle
Well I guess well have to
Improvise a little
He took my hand
And placed it on his heart
All we need is a beat
The we can start
So we danced through till morning
To the sound of his heart
When sunlight came it was time to part
So as we said our good-byes
And hurried along
I thought about
How fast time had gone
I knew in my heart
And Im sure I am right
10 years from now
Ill still fall asleep thinking of that night
