I'm Finally Alive

by Jenn   Jan 19, 2007

Tracing Her sillouhette in the mirror
With each bloody finger
Mommy lies on the floor
In a puddle of deceit

She's rid of a heart
Her mind smoothly soaring
Through the damp air
She catches its reflection

As the rain softly patters
Against the windows
"Harder" She whispers
"Silent" I chant

When the body
Fails to move
She thinks it's a dream
Caught in the mist

But Her eyes are crimson
Her skin branded black
Forever marked
Forever with Hell

It's dead cold out there
And the storm
Has already subsided
It can't get you out

It will stop
I can promise you that
Now watch me bring you

down I'm

finally

alive
