A Butterfly

by Jackie   Jan 20, 2007

Butterfly tears

Kiss them all way

Soft rain like a blessing

Unwanted reminiscing

Flee, fly away form the pain

Watch the silent, deceitful, beauty.

The pain was too much to take.

All the feelings she felt, felt fake.

She tried as hard as she could

She flew as best as her torn little wings would

Her limp body became heavy

She began to feel it all slowly slide away

She never thought that today would be her last day

Her lungs were weak and she began to shake

She cried as she fell to the ground

With out making a sound

She took her last little breath

Now she passed away

The small life of a butterfly

To you may be insignificant

But God knows.

He saw her tears.

He felt her pain.

He was with her.

His hand was under her the all along.

He was ready to catch her when she fell.

Time to fly

Fly away into the infinite night sky.
