Tears

These tears remain in my eyes tonight,
Never flowing, never releasing the inner pain
Tears gather some from long ago,
Some from just now,
I just want to weep these tears,
But I have forgotten how.
All I want is to see you again,
To hear your precious voice,
That's all I need,
You will have to make a choice
You know what I want,
I no you don’t want the same,
I want to ask for more
But I no you wont,
Neither today nor tomorrow,
Maybe in the future
I don't see how.
I want to smile, laugh and cry,
But all I can do is try.
