Weird Love

Love is senseless.
Or maybe it's wonderful.
But all in all,
It's colorful.

Love is unpredictable.
You take it for granted.
You wish for it back.
But your wish can't be granted.

You think they
Secretly truly hate you,
Cause all they do
Is intimidate you.

But next think you know
There's a glowing smile.
It makes you feel
Like a little child.

But deep down inside
You actually know
It's for the person behind you.
It has to be so.

So when you giggle
And when you flatter,
The feeling stops
And you melt like butter.

In their eyes
You see yelling.
Or the awkward look,
That they're not telling.

In their heart
For you there's no emotion,
But in your heart,
It's the locomotion.

So many promises
Left broken.
So many missed opportunities
They could have spoken.

Why is love a deal
So big and fat?
I guess it's just weird like that.
