Everything in Between

Everything in between

Dark hair, Blue eyes, can you see through the lies

Fake smile, painted lips, do you see the way she trips

Glassy stare, Broken heart, how could she be so torn apart

Alone in this world she pretends to find a new way to mend

She is screaming each time you look in here eyes and buy the inevitable lies

She tries to make it clear but its like looking into a broken mirror

You can't read between the lines and you've missed all the signs

The dark makeup, late nights, telling you its all alright

Glassy eyes, crooked grin, and the way her body is growning thin

The angry words, the defiant actions, all to no ones satisfaction

She hurting and trying to get you to see and hear her silent plea

But all she can do is fake a smile dying all the while

She wants to cry it all away but her demons it can't slay

Picture running through her head that keep her hanging by a thread

Wishing on a star knowing that its way to far

So she sits alone and waits this whole world she contemplates

Sad eyes, salty tears, ones that hold her biggest secrets and fears

Dreams in the dark, Prayers in the night, pleading with someone to make this right

Dark face, Careless eyes, Nothing can keep out the lies

Tight shirts, Baggy Jeans, and everything in between
