Smiling Hell

by supratim   Jan 22, 2007

I always wear a formal attire
And hide the extinguished flames and fire,
Walking and slouching through the deserted street
Throwing a smile to whom I meet.

The quarantined phase have started well,
When three years back
I am pushed to Hell
From where the shrieks of panic are heard,
Along my shriek-- so fragile and blurred.

With a pair of eager eyes
And a smile where maggot cries,
I do extend my slimy hands
To pull you to my destined cell,
Which I named Inferno's Hell.

From the voodooed frames of door I peep
To throw a glance on you so deep,
Cackling and drinking the elixir of life
When I do grawl from the wounds of knife.

The ever spinning wheel of time
Once again changed your phase of life,
Now you do press my voodooed doors,
As your friends have left you on the moors!

A mystic smile now painted me
And from my realm I shrieked to thee,
With a hope you'll fly to me
Clasping a broom ,
Or an embellished athame.

Felt you from the darkest well
Sobbed for you with a diamond bell,
But all these are now unheard thrall
For ears are deaf to a bleeding soul.

Hm, your poem sure did give off a wonderful scenery of darkness. great imagery within it. your usage of those words was wonderful, too.
