Dark

Like a candle that dissipates
Into the velvety darkness,
Of solitude,
I am smothered by an unseen hand.

And the darkness
Is like fog,
That rock in off the sea and never leaves.

Can anyone see me?
Can anyone here my cries?

Or will I fade an not cry,
Like a candle
In the dark.
