Who Is She?

by Jessica Lynn   Jan 24, 2007

She's the one I hear that whispers in my ear
She's the tormenting voice that leaves me with no choice
She's on my back digging into me like a thumbtack

When I run she's there
No hiding from her she's bound to find you
She's a never ending nightmare that always gives me a scare

On my shoulders, in my head
Her voice repeats over and over again
She tells me what to do, but sometimes I refuse
But if that's the case she punishes me and makes me hide my face

Hidden behind a mask I remain
Until she forgives me and stops going insane
This simply means my mask is glued
Because she never forgives neither forgets
It's like I'm stuck here until I confess

But what would I say sorry for?
The fact that my names Jess and I was born into this mess
Or that I drink and I can't let go of that link

She drives me crazy; I'm beginning to become lazy
My wishes and dreams I can no longer achieve
For she's taken it all from me
... but wait this girl is me

Dedicated to me, b/c if I don't change I'll be taken everything from myself
it's just a little message to me to keep in mind as my life goes by !
