A Better Me

I see a light,
Its just up ahead,
I fought with all my might,
No longer full of dread.

Now I can enjoy things,
See all the joy in life,
Like swinging on the swings,
Or just being a good wife.

No tears fall from my face,
No thoughts of being dead,
Although bad, I do not want to erase,
Everything that ran through my head.

What does not kill you makes you stronger,
A better person I will be,
In the past Ill dwell no longer,
