If I Asked You To Go

by Kate   Jan 27, 2007

If I asked you to go
you probably won't say no
but so,
I still want you to go

You make me want to pack, runaway;
and never come back

I'll take a risk,
you'll just say tisk

I'll pretend I don't miss you,
and you'll pretend you do

You'll use hurtful words
to try and break me
but I'm going to hold up

There was a weakness in our relationship
I wanted it, you didn't

You need two people
to feel the same
for it to work out
so you won't put out

As you walk by
I close my eye
trying not to peak
'cause maybe I'll speak

You broke your neck
I just said heck
wishing for a peck

What should I do?
find another you?
