My Mask

People think they know me but they don't have a clue,
They don't know what I've done or the things that I've been through.

They can't see inside me, they don't know my fears,
They can't see my happiness, my anger or my tears.

All they see when they look at me is the mask i hide behind,
By looking at the mask, what I feel can't be defined.

The mask shows that I'm happy and confident too,
But the truth is that sometimes I don't know what to do.
