Dear God

Dear God, I have some questions
Some things I just don't understand
Like why you gave me friendships
Or sent me a helping hand

Dear God, I just don't get it
You love me no matter what?
And even when I'm done with you
The door, it just won't shut

Dear God, you love me so much
And I'll always worship you
You made everything in this world
And yet you love me too?

Dear God, I feel so terrible
Every time I sin
It fills me up with worthlessness
And I want to throw the towel in

But Lord, you just whisper
"Child it's alright.
No matter how dark you feel,
I will always make it bright."
