Northern Star

NORTHERN STAR

Silent as a lamb,
you came to me
my hands suddenly clam;
your heart is crying out to
me.

Led straight to you,
thanking God for
all I've been through.
Fed to the mouth of
true love,
letting my heart drown
in your arms sent from
above.

All my long lost dreams,
have led me straight to you;
all the trials in my life
led me straight to you.

Kept in a world so dim,
my chances seemed so slim,
my body floating forced to try
and swim;
I saw your eyes in the distance,
and followed my way to you,
I followed my heart,
and the thing that finally
won't tear this a p a r t.

You smile and take my hand,
here we stand beneath the sky,
seeing that He has a bigger plan.
Looking at you I know you're my Northern Star,
the one that He lead me
straight to.
