Dreaming upon a night

by Joseph Koglin   Feb 1, 2007

We walk around the park and sit for a while.
You can see the time begin to dial.

It's beginning , a dark blue night sky.
We just sit there, her head on mine and watch the stars go by.

I stare at her beautiful eyes of divine, shining through the moon.
She gets cold, I hold her and wrap her in my cacoon.

I whisper in her ear, "I will always love you, for all my days"
"Even if we depart, I hope not, because I want to always stay"

She props up her head shining through the baby blue night sky.
She smiles at me, hugs me tight, and says " were back together again, and I will stay with you even until we die"

I smile back, hug her tight again, kiss her on her forehead, wishing this day would never end.
Her lips meet mine and I know were definately back together again.

My love for her comes back like a river flowing down a stream.
And now my heart is clean, clean of hurt, and shines of gleam.

The rain starts to fall all around us, but my love for her is covering us, without a touch.
Hold her head, kiss her again, and my feelings and love just gush.

Lighting a candle unto the night.
Making the darkness around us, go bright.

As the night goes on, she falls asleep by my side, I wake up holding her, feeling so glad.
I wake up in the morning seeing it was just a dream and begin to feel lost, just sad, seeing another dream by day, wishing she would just stay.
