You don't have to be alone

by Joseph Koglin   Mar 29, 2007

I don't know when we fell apart
The love that we had was like a work of art
I used to see heaven in your eyes
Now I see angels falling from your skies

The best days of my life wher with you
I remember that day when I told you "I love you" and you answered "I love you too"
I held you in my arms and began to cry
Seeing how you loved me, and my heart began to flutter and fly
The unforgettable moments of being with you is what I'll treasure
I just wish we could be again together

Outside the winter seems so cold
Your heart is frozen like the snow
And there's no one home, to keep you warm and safe
Your eyes are red because you cry
You fell asleep by the fire side
But there's one thing you should know
On this wonderful day, you don't have to be alone

I wish I could kiss those unforgivable lips that struck my soul
But now my heart has an unbearingful pain that makes it cold
My heart has this blackness evilness of a hole
I walk through this life with a sword through my heart, and a numbness through my soul

I can still smell that craving of a perfume that stopped me in my tracks
I would stop and it would make my mind relax
I would make you laugh and smile, and would say "I will never leave you, I want to always stay"
Telling you this upon the ground on which we lay

Outside the winter seems so cold
Your heart is frozen like the snow
And there's no one home, to keep you warm and safe
Your eyes are red because you cry
You fell asleep by the fire side
But there's one thing you should know
On this wonderful day, you don't have to be alone
