Writing Poetry

Writing poetry

I'm gunna to write a poem today,
I don't know what it will be,
Writing a poem is sodding hard,
And I'm sure you'll agree.

I will sit here, for hour on end,
Waiting for a theme,
To base my poem on,
But it's less than a dream.

Then it struck me cold and fast,
What I should now do,
Not to force a subject come,
But to use my problem, how true.

Sitting here in my room,
I am ever so pleased,
Of my cleaver thinking,
When that topic was seized.

I'm gunna to write a poem today,
I don't know what it will be,
Writing a poem is sodding hard,
And I'm sure you'll agree.
