Lost Relationship and Lost Life

I sat there laying on the floor beside the bed
remembering every mean word that he said
crying and delusional and not knowing what to do
picking up the pieces of my heart that was now broke in two
I was holding it together when I suddenly felt this pain
Strong in my stomach where our child lay ed with no name
I felt the pain get intense and the blood start to flow
I then suddenly realized my angel was letting go

Letting go of my hand to catch my child fall
my angel left my side to listen to the lords call
His call to take my baby from me and take her to his home
Leaving me there hurting and feeling all alone
Than as I lay ed there already knowing my baby was taken
all full of blood and feeling very shaken
I prayed to god that he would come and take me to
I now had nothing left since he took away the both of you

In my prayer I asked him, why he brought this pain to my life
by taking away the man I love and the child I had inside
what did I do to deserve this misery?
why were the both of them taken away from me?
And I swear that I heard a voice whisper in my ear
that my baby's now in heaven, this brought my eyes to tears
than the voice said don't worry your still not alone
I left you for a minute to carry your child home

and now I tell you this and take in every word
it wasn't in my hands when your lover left you hurt
that was his choice and he chose to turn away
away from you and your child on this winter day
and the reason your baby died was only to be saved
from the pain she would of had if she had stayed
so I thought it'd be best to take her to my home
and have her to watch over you so you'll never be alone

and you will see her again when its your life I call for
she will be the first, waiting for u at my door
so don't you give up, let your life carry on
this is the time in your life when you need to be strong
and when life's troubles come back your way
thats when you lay your head down and pray
and I will send your daughter to your side
to be there to catch the tears that fall from your eyes
