Death

Death.
It's so quiet it can take you by surprise.
You don't know, but it's walking you
holding your hand.
You take it every where with you
And in your dreams it is you it chose.
You're so scared you might leave
without a good-bye
But at the end you say it is
still not time.
You wish you could pause
And be able o rewind
But life takes the lead
And breathes with no beat.
You close your eyes
to see another future of distinction
And you don't want to open them
Cause you're afraid to see prediction.
Death...
It's so quiet it can take you by surprise.
Death is by your side...
You choose let it be your perdition.

Oh my gosh i love that poem. it made me think of when my grandpa died, he kept saying i want to die i know i am going to die. yah i wont go on with that cause its really long and you most likely dont care but i read your poem and it really reminded me of some things i want to do before death chooses me.
