Crossroads

by Jeremy B   Feb 3, 2007

As I am once again depressed,
I reflect upon all confessed.
It appears that I am possessed
By the very one I obsessed.

Over time in and time out.
No longer do I even know about
Which way to go or what route
To look down and thoroughly scout.

The road forks before me now
Though I still do wonder how
I got to this crossroad "No Mal."

Skulls and bones line my way left
And screams echo the right as death.
I stand here now without a breath
As my mind burns out as on crystal meth.

Love at first glance, a hit from start.
But you extinguished the fire, my heart.
Beauty in the ashes left behind, resembled art.
