Unseen Escape

A man once said to me,
"If people say they're fat,
Why don't they do anything about it?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Her thoughts to others are critical and disappointing
But she is disappointing herself and the parts she needs to change

The back-stabbing toward classmates, loved ones, and friends
When they know that they don't like to be back-stabbed either.

The addiction of masturbation that haunts the couple
When they know it is a leech to their relationship

Just like how he wants to hear cries of pleasure
When he knows that it is a complete mind-play of lust

Like how she isn't comfortable of them being together
When it is the dark act of jealousy fogging her heart

How she wants more attention from loved ones
When she knows she's getting attention and loved anyways

If she knows this in her head,
Why doesn't she do anything about it?

All she wants is to find an escape
But her blinded heart blocks the gate
