A young teenage girl

by CassandraXVeronicaXONealaXLawson   Feb 4, 2007

A young teenage girl
that felt all alone because
nothing but violence
was in her home

she came home from school
to yet anther fight
not knowing that
this time it would cost her life

as the yelling and fighting
got worse and extreme
no one could hear
the poor girl scream

as his face flared with rage,
he grabbed for the knife,
to cut out the heart
of this remaining life

and when he did guilt
raised inside and
tears started falling
and he took his own life

see what happens
to little girls and little boys
ALl around the world
because of the violence we put in there life

with help from nameless in chat

Very nicely written, however there are a very spelling mistakes...

This line, "to yet anther fight" should be, "to yet another fight"

This line, "got worse and exterm" should be, "got worse and exterme"

This line, "noone could hear" should be, "no one could hear"

This line, "see what happends" should be, "see what happens"

I advice you to use the spell check when submitting a poem. Other than that, the poem was very well written, the flow was good as well as the structure.

    Peace, Joe
