I hope you know I love you
And I hope we never part
But I won't get my hopes up
Cos there's only a little left of my heart

I thought I found true love before
But just look at what he did to me
He broke my little heart
Even before our one month anniversary

But I can't believe I've fallen for you
I'm taking quite a big chance
I swore off love after him
I totally cut out romance

But you seemed to open my heart
And I'm hoping I won't get hurt again
But baby, you make me so happy
That I just have to give in

    Awww this is cute. I know its hard to trust people after you've been hurt, but thats part of life. You just have to hold your heart out and hope the people who have it don't hurt it. Sorry I haven't been on much dear, I've been in a bit of a slump, but I'm doing much better. Keep up the writing. Beautiful poem :)

    Very sweet indeed, but be careful this time around. It takes a while to heal from a broken heart and even longer to fully love someone again.
    It took me months to get over chris and if i ever part with Marcus, i can see it taking years.
    Just be careful ok?
