Something I want

I watched from the balcony as the smell stung my nose.
I felt the electricity from my head to my toes.

I watched the waves circulate from back to front.
The crows were stalking tourists, looking for garbage on the hunt.

The sun was dancing over the sky.
I looked at this man who had your eyes.

I admired his soul because the eyes expose.
I remembered the secret that nobody knows.

I locked this secret in my locket for keeps,
In hopes that no one would try and have a peep.

From day in to day out you were on my mind.
You think I forgot everything and left it all behind?

I remembered I love you and I can't resist you.
And as I thought of this more and more this feeling grew.

I daydreamed and the sunshine's smile made me glad,
I daydreamed that I loved you, but you're something I can't have....
