What You've Never Had

Does everyone notice the way I look at her.
Do they see that look in my eyes
Can they tell that I've fallen for her
Do they realize I love her.

It wasn't suppose to be this way
Wasn't suppose to be this hard
How can I be married and
Fall in love with someone else.

I've never felt this way
Never wanted to be with a woman
Why did it have to happen
Why can't we just be friends.

I wish I could go back
Go back and change what happened
I would never do the things I did
Never cross that line.

We can't be together anymore.
Even though there is true love.
I have a life to live and so does she.
How will life go on without her?
Now that she's not in mine.

I've always been told, but
Never believed what I heard
Everyone has always said,
You can't miss what you've never had.
But I didn't understand until now.
