Can't we be miles apart and
Still be the friends we used to be?
You said even though you were moving

It hurts not talking to you.
I think about you everyday
Wondering how you're doing.
Wanting to just hear your voice.
Curious if you think about me.

I missed your phone call last night
I can't describe how much
It broke my heart to see you called.
You only call about once a month
And I missed my chance to talk to you.

I'm getting married in the fall.
I can only hope you'll make it home
To celebrate this wonder day with me.
Best friends are suppose to be around
To help prepare for this day.

What has happened to this friendship?
Is this the distance between us,
Or is it the fact that you found another guy
And married this man,
Or is it just the fate of our friendship?
