Such sweet Sorrow!

A soldier left his love this letter
and with it her heart died
every night she prayed he\'d be home now
instead he lay down somewhere and closed his eyes

Dear Grace,

I miss you so dearly and I wish to come home
But I have to be strong now and face it alone
I know that this will scare you but I have to be fair
I am fighting this war and cant always be there.

Im going into this knowing that I may not come out
Believe me im scared but its what im about
One thing I cant handle is not seeing your face
So please know that i always loved you before its too late

Please dont cry if I dont return to your side
Remember I fought for your freedom I fought for my pride
So make everyone see how much that I gave
that for my life there was another five saved
