Water Breeze

Sitting here
On the soft, silky sand
Watching as the waves
Slowly run away from the sun

The cool breeze
Lifting my hair from my shoulders
The rustling sounds of the trees
Barely even a whisper

The smell of saltwater
As it quietly touches my feet
Being here at the beach today
Makes feel at ease and happy

** Yeah it doesn\'t rhyme.. but I just learned today that poems don\'t always have to rhyme.
