Its Blank Pages

by Anne Garcia   Feb 8, 2007

It's a temptation for me
When all I can see
Is the beautifully white pages
Laying there before me.

It's a temptation for me
When it's just sitting there
Waiting to write out youthful ideas
But the pages still lay bare

It's a temptation for me
When I've kept it all inside
Waiting to be let out
Quickly before it subsides

It's a temptation for me
To go ahead and write
To take that beautifully carved pen
And to make those pages no longer blank nor white.

Yes.. I have another one that I just thought of on the spot. I have a need to write today... Bad day of course.

This was good, but i felt like it kept repeating the same thing over and over..
but i was a good poem about wanting/needing to write.
    amazing job. 5/5
