Mother to Daughter

Why are we slowly breaking apart.
me & you were best friends from the start.
we had the best mother daughter relationship.
but now its starting to slip.
i guess im just getting older.
& are relationship is getting colder.
I use to tell you everthing.
but now our relationship is held by one piece of string.
if thats the way you want it to be.
Then mom you need to tell me.
well i guess thats all i have to say.
