Late Nights

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Feb 9, 2007

Sometimes, when I wake up
In the middle of the night,
I wonder what you're doing,
And calling you seems right.

I hope that I will reach you,
And it's usually the case,
You keep your phone on "vibrate"
Right up next to your face.

I only call when it's urgent,
Or when I really need to talk,
Or sometimes when I think it's funny,
When I'm out for a walk.

Otherwise, I let you be,
Call you during "normal times"
But when else can we act totally drunk,
And say things never said by sane minds?

So tonight, when it's late,
Just to see, I'll call you,
And see if you enjoy these talks,
As much as I truly do.
