Reflection Of Mud.

by Alicia   Feb 10, 2007

My blood drains,
Out of my veins.
My life again,
Switches lanes.

The light turns red,
And I come to a stop.
It changes back to green,
And move I cannot.

I pound on the gas,
But my life will not budge.
I restart the engine,
But thats not the cause.

So I get out,
And start to walk.
All the people around me,
Point their fingers and gawk.

I catch my reflection,
In a puddle of mud.
I see that my face,
Is covered in blood.

How did it get there,
I haven't a clue.
But I'm starting to think,
It's there cause of you.

*The beginning is committing suicide, and after that it's a dream state that the person is put in while they are dying. (Just in case you were wondering, lol)

**This poem is full of metaphors for my life, you don't have to look hard to find one.
